Not yet! While I am working on being approved by several insurance companies, it can be a very drawn out process. I am able to bill PIP for auto injury massage.
Nope. Massaging pregnant women and mothers is my niche and my passion. I'm happy to refer the men in your life to a specialist in men's deep tissue and sports massage: TBone Massage Studio

Yes! I have a hydraulic lift table, along with a side lying positioning system. The hydraulic table allows me to change the height of the table on the fly. I lower it so you can easily get on the table and then I lift you to a working position. It also has a tilt back so that I can position you semi-reclined for neck work. The side lying positioning system holds you in the ideal position to receive prenatal massage. All the leading pregnancy massage professionals agree that side lying is the safest position to receive massage in the 2nd & 3rd trimesters. While stomach cut out massage tables & pillows are available there is serious concern that positioning you that way creates potentially unsafe pressure in the uterus for your baby and further strains the ligaments in the pelvis. While the idea of being face down sounds appealing, most moms absolutely love my table and positioning pillows. I hear all the time: "Can you come tuck me in bed every night?" and "I feel like a queen!".
For goodness sakes YES! Your body is going through so many changes, you need massage now more than ever! As long as you are healthy with no other complicating issues, it is perfectly safe to receive massage in the first three months of pregnancy. You have the option of receiving massage face down on the table as long as you are not "showing" and I have a special breast comfort pillow if you need it. Most traditional massage techniques are performed with the client unclothed; however our top priority is your comfort. Some clients prefer to remove all their clothing; others keep their underwear on or other garments. Some large breasted women have concern during sidelying massage that their chest will be uncomfortable without the support of a bra. We do recommend not wearing a bra as it impedes access to work in your mid back area and generally disrupts the flow of back work. So we always provide a "hug" pillow which allows you to bolster your chest and arms comfortably while sidelying.
Absolutely! Your massage therapist will keep a sheet and typically a blanket draped over your body throughout the session for comfort, warmth and safety. She will uncover only the part of your body that is being massaged at that time and redrape as she moves to new areas. We use extra wide sheets during side lying massage to ensure coverage of the more vertical positioning. Your privacy and comfort are our key priorities!
We have several options available. Ranging from organic sunflower oil to vegan jojoba lotion. All of our lotions/oils are unscented. We do offer custom aromatherapy for several of our spa treatments. Please let your therapist know if you have any sensitivities.
